The platform improvements concern HTML and JavaScript editing, all VCS integrations and other areas which are also important for RubyMine users. Changes specific to Ruby/Rails developers include: new autocompletion which appears instantly as you type; new 'Introduce Parameter' refactoring; a structure view for Shoudla tests and for Test::Unit «test» closures; and the ability to build a Rails app into a .WAR file from the IDE.
