A $30BN AUM financial services firm is looking to hire a Junior to Mid Level Quant Modeler / Analyst to work in Strats team in their New York city office. Candidate will develop models and valuation tools for various asset classes, primarily fixed income.
Responsibilities: — Work as part of small team to develop cash flow and fundamental models on a variety of asset classes and insurance liabilities– Work with head of group to develop risk views and help make investment decisions– Help develop portfolio management system and risk reports
Requirements: — Strong academic foundation in technical field (Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, etc.); Masters preferred– Strong quantitative, mathematical and modeling skills– Programming experience (Python preferred)– Experience with Fixed Income products preferred– Team player, excellent communication skills
